Our super strong racks are constructed with a solid wood 2X bottom and end plates secured together with 2.5”
screws and wood glue. The bottom rail is constructed of 5/8" OSB to prevent complete failure of the rail if a shell failed to launch. The top rail is constructed of 5/8" plywood cut with the grain. The bottom and top rails are attached with 6 staples, 2 screws and wood glue. Our firework consumer mortars are made from the industry standard high-density polyethylene (HDPE)
DR11 pipe. Each mortar is 12" or 15" long and are plugged with a 1.5" thick solid wood plug stapled in 4 times.
PLEASE NOTE that the 6 and 12 shot racks come in two pieces to save you shipping cost. The bottom stabalizing plate must be attached to the rack before it can be safetly used. The base is pre-drilled and is attached with the included (4) screws. The only tool needed is a phillips head screw driver.
